The DPT Program at Texas State operates with a FIRM application deadline of September 16th. This is the d eadline for receipt of ALL APPLICATION MATERIALS (including official GRE scores) to PTCAS and submission of supplemental application and fee. Applications will be considered incomplete if all materials (including official GRE scores) are not received by this date and applicants will be deemed ineligible for consideration for this cycle. According to PTCAS, " PTCAS does not hold files due to a missing GRE score". This means that PTCAS may/will code your file as 'complete' even though PTCAS has not received official GRE scores. Therefore, do not assume that your GRE scores have been received by PTCAS just because PTCAS has marked your file as complete. PTCAS states, "Note that your programs may require additional materials for your application to be considered complete." Texas State requires that official GRE scores be received by the deadline in order for Texas State to consider your application as complete. It is the applicant's responsibility to confirm that all application materials including official GRE scores are received by the deadline. GRE scores will only be considered if they are sent from ETS to PTCAS using code: 7405
PTCAS processing may take up to 4-5 weeks once all required materials are received. Therefore, it is recommended that all materials be received by PTCAS no later than August 15 if you would like the opportunity to resolve any issues that arise during the processing period. The PT Department cannot guarantee that application materials will be processed prior to the application deadline. It is in the applicant's best interest to submit all application materials 4-6 weeks in advance.
